Ingredients
• Potatoes - 300 (4 or 5 medium size keelu) sugar - 100 grams (half cup)
• Ghee - 4 table spoon
• Milk - One cup raisins - 1 table spoon (break the stalks and wash)
• Cashews - 1 table spoon (cut into 5 - 6 pieces of cashews
• Cardamom - 5 - 6 (peel and grind)
• Almonds - 6 - 7 (Finely chop)
Method:
• Wash and boil the potatoes, cool them, peel and break them.
• Put 2 spoons of ghee in the pan and let it heat. Put potatoes in ghee and roast them on a low flame for 7 - 8 minutes while stirring with a spatula. Add milk and sugar, raisins and cashews to the fried potatoes. At this time, keep stirring the pudding continuously with a ladle, potato pudding will be ready in 6 - 7 minutes.
• Turn off the fire. Add cardamom powder to the potato halwa and mix. Add the remaining ghee as well, take your potato pudding is ready.
• Take out the potato pudding in a bowl. Garnish with chopped almonds. Serve hot potato pudding and eat. This pudding tastes great even when it is cold.
• You can remove any nuts in your potato pudding (Alu ka Halwa) and add nuts of your choice.
